I am an engineer and have been working for a building company for five years. My office is on the third floor in a tall building downtown. The windows of the office face a picturesque view – I can look down on the streets. Sometimes when I have not much work to do I can watch people walking in and out of the buildings near mine and it inspires me due to the fact that everyone on the earth is busy with something. It is enjoyable. Windows’ frames are distinctly shown up on the background of the blue sky. I enjoy the pictures of the street that is open in front of my eyes. Actually I have a very cozy room with a large comfortable chair at my desk and another chair near the bookcase for visitors. With the help of my daughter I try to keep the books well-arranged in their proper order on the shelves. Everything is in order in my office: the objects on my table, frames with pictures, telephone and computer. I keep my files and papers in a large drawer, but pens, pencils, paper clips and other small articles are stored in a smaller drawer. The frames of pictures that are on the walls provide me with enthusiasm – they very nice. In addition, there is a calendar on the table in order not to forget my appointments. Though I am a sound sleeper, I am never late for my work. My day lasts about eight hours and I have a lunch downstairs in the same building. Food is not very expensive in a small restaurant that is located on the ground floor. Very often Linda came to my office and we spend lunch time together. Usually we eat sea food and ice-cream for desert. I love those days when my daughter has a chance to stay with me. She is very intelligent and sophisticated and I really enjoy her company. Actually I hate being alone during the lunch. Therefore I am thankful for Linda’s coming and sharing he time with me, her mom.
